Head Chef We are on the look out for a Head Chef to join our team and take our food to the next level. Our food is uncomplicated, offering elevated yet homely classics , with specials that are specials to wow our guests. As our Head Chef you will directly influence our food vision along side the GM to create a food offer that is the best in the area. Using the best British, Seasonal ingredients to craft something truely special. This position is perfect for both experienced Head Chefs or Sous Chefs who are ready for their next step in their career. About us: The Coach & Horses is situated slap bang in the centre of Greenwich’s famous market, just around the corner from such as the Cutty Sark, the National Maritime Museum, Royal Observatory and Greenwich Park. Have experience championing excellent service through quality food either as a Head Chef or in the position of Sous Chef Demonstrate a passion for leading and developing a team Be an active hands-on team player with excellent communication skills Be responsible and able to manage the kitchen staff rota, training and all health and safety effectively at all times Be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability to design and deliver new dishes for our menus and daily specials Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills, necessary to maintain effective controls with regard to both GP and labour Have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth, through engagement with both kitchen and front of house teams
