Job Description Job Description Title: DC Power Technician Location: Syracuse, NY and surrounding areas Pay rate: $25 -$35 Scope of Work: Install, test, and commission DC power systems including battery banks, rectifiers, and distribution panels. Perform routine maintenance and load testing of DC batteries (VRLA, NiCad, Lithium-ion, etc.). Troubleshoot and repair DC power equipment to ensure optimal performance. Monitor and log power system performance and report issues or trends. Follow technical drawings, manuals, and specifications for equipment setup. Adhere to safety standards, codes, and regulations in all work activities. Maintain documentation for work performed, including test results and service records. Travel to customer sites and work independently or as part of a team. Provide emergency support and participate in on-call rotations if required.
