Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This role requires a solid understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and various imaging techniques, including CT scans and sonography. The Radiologic Technologist will work closely with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations in an urgent care setting. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Responsibilities Perform radiologic procedures using a C-arm digital x-ray machine (Swiss Ray) Ensure patient safety by following aseptic techniques and adhering to radiation safety protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Position patients accurately to obtain the best possible images for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnostic evaluations. Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly; report any issues as necessary. Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and results obtained. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
