Job Spec – Assistant Quantity Surveyor A great opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a growing, ambitious company with a busy pipeline of exciting projects. Medium-sized company with steady, sustainable growth Working on residential new builds (self-builds & joint ventures) Also delivers projects as a main contractor Projects across Residential, Commercial & Hospitality sectors Clients include Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Developers & Landlords Friendly, down-to-earth team with real career development opportunities What You'll Be Doing: * Helping put together cost plans, budgets, and tenders * Getting involved in buying – subcontractors and materials * Keeping an eye on project costs and updating reports * Assisting with valuations, variations, and payments * Visiting sites and checking in on progress * Supporting with contract admin and paperwork * Working closely with the commercial and site teams * Helping with final accounts and project wrap-up What They’re Looking For: * Studying or qualified in Quantity Surveying (HND/Degree) * Good with numbers, detail-focused, and organised * Keen to learn, take initiative, and grow with the team The Package: * Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience) * Benefits: Car allowance, discretionary bonus, travel expenses, private medical * Holiday: 22 days bank holidays (increasing to 29) A brilliant chance to get stuck in, build experience, and grow your career
