Our client: * Extremely successful, market leading food retailer with significant turnover. * Highly commercial environment with a fast paced culture focused on exceeding customer expectations. * This Events Manager role is ideal for an individual who wants to progress their career in people focused fast-paced retail environment The role: * As Events Manager you will lead one direct report to create, plan and execute insight-leading events that excite customers and deliver brand values. * Leading the development of the events calendar, the Events Manager will work cross functionally with the wider marketing and commercial team to deliver events from ideation to execution. * As Events Manager you will be responsible for budget planning, reporting and control across all events including awards, conferences, and marketing events. * In the Events Manager role, you will be required to work to agreed timelines and budgets to deliver large-scale, global events in line with company values. You will plan and lead on these events eg. Conferences, dinners, awards, galas etc. Ideal candidate: * This Events Manager role is ideal for an individual who is working either for a retailer, FMCG, or hospitality in an events planning role. Global experience is beneficial. * It is essential to have demonstrable experience of managing and planning events from ideation to execution on a large scale. * In this role, the events manager will be working with wider teams and agencies will have a proven track record at working cross functionally to deliver a strategy * Prior team leadership of at least 1 person * It is crucial to have fantastic communication skills along with reporting and attention to detail.
