Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver required Location: Cannock – WS11 Duration: 17 weeks Rate: £16.00 - 17.00 per hour Start Date: 14th July Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Counterbalance Forklift driver to join our client and support the team on a busy refurbishment project. The scheme itself is medium sized shell that is being converted and turned into a supermarket, This will be a full a fit out with its total value being circa £7m Our client is a Billion pound turnover contractor and have heavy presence in the West Midlands so this will be a good opportunity to impress and have a foot in the door for moving forward Responsibilities: * Safely operate forklifts to move construction materials around the site. * Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. * Assist with general site duties as needed. * Adhere to all site safety protocols and guidelines. Requirements: * Valid forklift operator certification – Counterbalance / Telescopic * Asbestos Awareness (Will be required / 40 minutes online course) * Proven experience operating forklifts on construction sites. * Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Excellent communication skills.
