Certified Medical Biller

Job Description Job Description Busy pain management clinic looking for a Certified Professional Coder/Biller to do medical billing. Works closely with doctor to ensure claims are coded correctly and timely. Claim Status: Must be able to work with payers on denied and rejected claims, file appeals and make any necessary corrections. Document all work in Billing Software. Patient Billing: Explain billing, co-pays and co-insurance. Keep payer fee schedules current and up to date. Able to compute and explain Patient Cost Estimates for procedures. Works closely with front desk personnel and scheduler to insure patients are aware of their responsibilities. Perform soft patient collections. Report all status findings to Admin on a weekly basis. Must be a team player and willing to help out in other areas as needed. The perfect candidate must possess great attention to detail, have a positive and professional attitude and work well under pressure in a high stress and highly regulated environment.
