Job Opportunity: Site Manager (Electrical Bias) Location: San José, Costa Rica (Diplomatic Residence) Contract: Temporary – 3 months (with extension or permanent options) Start Date: September 2025 (flexible by up to 1 month) Pay: £350/day (on site), £250/day (pre-start UK activities) Other Benefits: £25/day subsistence allowance Paid travel and flights Accommodation provided (hotel, Airbnb, or private apartment) Travel time paid at 50% rate Laptop provided; eSIM/data package for phone use Opportunities for future overseas projects in LATAM or the Caribbean About the Role: We’re looking for a hands-on Site Manager (Electrical Bias) to oversee a full electrical rewire and structural works project at a high-profile diplomatic residence in San José, Costa Rica. You'll be coordinating UK and local contractors on-site, ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget, and high-quality standards, while collaborating with our wider project team. Key Responsibilities: Manage on-site activities, subcontractors, and project progress Oversee electrical and fire alarm system installation (UK NICEIC contractor) Liaise with local general contractor for structural, glazing, and finishing works Report daily & weekly, maintaining detailed records Lead site meetings with contractors and the client Ensure Health & Safety compliance (UK Standards) Manage project documentation via our digital systems (Zoho ERP, White Helmet) Support delivery of As-Built drawings and O&M manuals Who We’re Looking For: Proven experience in Site/Project Management (Electrical focus), or extensive experience via technical/trade route Strong electrical and construction background with knowledge of UK standards (CDM, Health & Safety, Electrical Regs) Confident team leader with excellent organisation and problem-solving skills Comfortable working internationally and in a high-pressure environment Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project Able to learn Zoho ERP, White Helmet, and related tools (training provided) Fluent English (Spanish a plus, but not required – bilingual support available) Security Clearance (SC level or higher) required Why Join Us?
