This temporary, 0-hour contract offers around 6 hours of work per day, with flexible days to be arranged. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and create diverse, healthy meals tailored for children aged 3-14, meticulously adhering to all dietary needs and health regulations. * Uphold exceptionally high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety protocols at all times. * Efficiently manage kitchen stock, minimise waste, and assist with placing orders for supplies. * Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a positive and supportive mealtime experience for every child. What We're Looking For: * A minimum of Level 3 in Food and Hygiene qualification; we also welcome applications from individuals actively working towards this certification. * Previous experience as a Cook within an educational or similar large-scale catering environment is beneficial. * A genuine commitment to preparing appealing, nutritious food that delights young palates. * Strong practical knowledge of all relevant food safety legislation. * The ability to manage tasks independently and contribute effectively as part of a small team, with a flexible approach to scheduling.
