Lead Electrical Engineer Nationwide - On-site role Based in Reading Salary: £65,000 Package Benefits: Hotel paid for with overnight stays, meal allowance, Pension, Paid holiday - 25 days 8 Bank Holidays, Private Medical, Company Car and more Position: Lead Electrical Engineer The lead engineer role will be to oversee contractors on new electrical installations for utility scale Solar and BESS plants throughout the UK. Ensuring H&S safety is of the highest standard and installation is as per design, checking quality, compliance and then supporting the testing and commissioning phases taking the responsibility for validating LV testing certificates. Job Description: * Develop and implement electrical engineering standards and best practices. * Manage and coordinate electrical engineering projects. * Ensure all electrical components and systems meet performance, safety, and compliance standards. * Technical Expertise * Solve complex electrical design challenges and troubleshoot issues. * Oversee power distribution, control systems, wiring diagrams, plant energy management and data collecting systems. SCADA. Requirements: * Electrical and commissioning experience on utility scale PV plants, at least 2 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
