Job Description Job Description Program Development Services, Inc. is seeking energetic people, looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a person’s life by providing in-house and community care, training, and counseling to the people we support at one of our residential facilities located in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Must be comfortable communicating with individuals (verbal and non-verbal), family members, visitors, management, governmental agencies, and the general public Job Availability: Full-time & Part-time Shifts Available: Daytime, Afternoon and Overnight Residential Locations: Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Brighton Beach, Canarsie, Dyker Heights, Flatbush, Manhattan, Red Hook, Sheepshead Bay, Williamsburg Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide each individual support with their growth in areas including but not limited to counseling, budgeting, food preparation, activities of daily living and recreation Ensure that all program and service plans are implemented and documentation is completed. Accompany individuals on medical, clinical and other visits deemed necessary by the I.D.T Follow all policy and procedures of the agency. Administer medication to the individuals (with proper training) Qualifications: Authorization to work in the United States High School Diploma or its equivalent, required One year experience in the human services field, preferred AMAP, SCIP, CPR, and First Aid Certifications preferred, but not required Program Development Services, Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer
