We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reserve Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations within our prestigious game reserve. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, supporting the smooth running of the reserves daily activities. You will manage a team of technicians and laborers, coordinate maintenance schedules, and implement preventative maintenance plans to maximize efficiency and longevity of assets. Key Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team to deliver exceptional results. Manage all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance including buildings, roads, water systems, and vehicles. Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations. Liaise closely with management and other departments to align maintenance activities with operational needs. Control maintenance budgets and manage procurement of supplies and services. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reserves infrastructure and operational sustainability. What We Are Looking For: Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably within a game reserve, lodge, or hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and civil maintenance practices. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
