Outreach Support Worker (Scale 5)

What the Job Involves This role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities to maximize their independence within their own homes. You will assist them with developing skills related to cooking, budgeting, and accessing the community. The position requires flexibility, working a 4-week rolling rota, including: Week 1: Tuesday 11 AM - 7 PM, Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM, Sunday 10 AM - 6 PM Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10:45 AM - 6:45 PM Week 3: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 11 AM - 7 PM Week 4: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday 10 AM - 6 PM Sundays are compensated at an enhanced rate of pay. Skills Experience in person-centered planning Capability to teach cooking and budgeting skills Ability to facilitate community access Flexible scheduling availability Strong interpersonal and communication skills
