About The Position A large medical center is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage. You will not be bored while on assignment in Boise, Idaho. Venturing around downtown or enjoying the Boise River or foothills, Boise is no ordinary place. This Inpatient Oncology locum position starts in May 2025 and involves rounding, admitting, and consulting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no call. The provider will treat both oncology and hematology patients in an inpatient setting, administering medication as needed. While APPs do not provide coverage, outpatient oncologists are available for support. The role does not include supervising other healthcare providers, and EPIC is used for documentation.
