Job Description

Selling to corporate and MICE clientele requires a strategic approach that aligns with hotel revenue goals. This role focuses on developing lasting relationships, crafting customized sales initiatives, and driving business from the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) segment. Main Responsibilities : Build and execute a MICE sales strategy to achieve room night, event space, and revenue targets. Identify opportunities for growth through market analysis, industry trends, and competitor insights. Negotiate group contracts ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. Partner with catering, banquet, and operational teams to ensure event execution excellence. Develop targeted sales plans to promote the hotel, leveraging industry trade shows, networking events, and roadshows to connect with key clients and partners. Organize site inspections, client meetings, and sales trips to showcase the hotel's offerings and build strong relationships. Attend industry conferences and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and innovative solutions in the MICE sector. Requirements : A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar MICE-focused role within the hotel industry is essential. Proven success in selling to corporate and MICE clientele is necessary, demonstrating a deep understanding of this niche market. Strong organizational, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is a must, as this role involves frequent site visits and industry events. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office is essential, along with fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
