Job Description Plant Manager – High-Speed Liquid Filling | Food Manufacturing We’re looking for an experienced, grounded Plant manager to take the reins of a growing high-speed bottling facility near Youngstown, PA area. This is a unique chance to build something meaningful from the inside out. The plant is in the early stages of modernization, and we’re ready to hand the keys over to someone who can bring structure, lead a team, and help scale the operation over the next 3–5 years. This role is designed to evolve—with the right leader, it can grow into a Director, Vice President, or even President of the division within 5–10 years. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume food manufacturing, understands processing and packaging workflows, and isn’t afraid to lead from the floor. FULL RELOCATION PROVIDED POSITION IS NEAR YOUNGSTOWN, PA Here’s What You’ll Step Into $140K–$170K salary bonus tied to performance Full ownership of day-to-day operations—production, quality, maintenance, scheduling A lean but capable team with strong potential and buy-in Currently running one shift with plans to scale to additional shifts ERP system in place, with Redzone implementation planned Clear advancement track into Director of Operations or President-level leadership What You’ll Be Doing Oversee all aspects of daily production, including batching, cooking, filling, and packaging Lead supervisors and hourly staff across production, maintenance, quality, and sanitation functions Set up and track performance metrics, build accountability, and streamline shift structure Drive process improvement across changeovers, line efficiency, and material usage Implement and support food safety programs—GMPs, HACCP, and SQF (in progress) Coordinate with sales, logistics, and procurement teams to align schedules and costs Own the facility’s operational rhythm—adjusting as needed to meet growth targets Support recruiting, systems, and problem-solving initiatives Build a strong foundation for future growth and shift expansion You Bring This With You Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering preferred 5 years in plant management or senior production leadership within food or beverage manufacturing Direct experience in high-speed liquid filling, canning, bottling, or related continuous flow packaging production Proven ability to build systems, introduce metrics, and lead operational change Familiarity with ERP systems; Redzone experience is a plus Hands-on leadership style and a passion for developing teams Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (FDA, HACCP, GMP, SQF) A flexible, startup-minded approach—you’re comfortable building and doing at the same time Who Thrives in This Role Someone from a larger plant looking to step into a high-impact leadership role A practical, floor-focused leader who can coach and course-correct in real time Someone who sees operational chaos as a blank slate for building structure and systems A long-term thinker who’s excited to grow with the business—and shape where it goes Note: The company description appears to be repetitive and can be condensed for clarity, but is kept as-is for accuracy.
