Job Description


Manage the Front Office staff including supervisors, clerks, dispatch and bell services, in the daily operations of all of our lodging properties. The FOM will aid in the administration of the Front Office department to achieve the highest level of guest and owner satisfaction and ensure that we are in compliance with our policies and procedures; while meeting and exceeding financial goals.


Supervise the shift operations in the Front Office and liaise with reservations, accounting, housekeeping, and all other operations departments to ensure optimal level of quality service is being met.
Aid in the administration of the Front Office team, including, interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, developing, empowering, coaching and counseling, and providing open communications.
Monitor and process payroll.
Develop and monitor our safety programs and ensure staff are properly trained and understand the scope of their position through development of job hazard analysis and company safety goals.
Ensure all operations and cash handling are done per procedure.
Resolve guest and owner complaints, anticipate problems by reviewing and monitoring complaints, operational issues, business flows and associate performance.
Develop the procedures and policies to ensure are financial obligations are being met and processed properly.
Ensure the guests, employees and properties are safe by implementing the proper safety policies and procedures
Monitor supply levels and maintain the front office systems and equipment to ensure their optimum performance. Suggest products and vendors and develop comparative analysis.
Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans, objectives and manage within those perimeters.
Maintain guest room inventory and integrity of our room revenue rate structure.
Responsible for short and long term planning and management of the hotel's Front Office operations.
Perform special project and participate in task forces as requested.
This position is intended to provide high management visibility and improved guest service, as such; this position will be require the FOM to work in any shift as needed.
The FOM will be part of our Lodging Management Team and may need to respond to guest service situations and emergency scenarios as it relates to the lodging department as a whole.

Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
Proficient at multiple systems including SMS, RTP, Office 365 programs including PPT, Excel and Word.
Solid scheduling experience through monitoring of occupancy, services and historical data.
Exceptional detail in follow-up with guest and employees.
4 years or more of progressive hotel rooms management experience.

Operations Manager who can build and motivate a team to excel in revenue growth, consistent standards and guest care.
