Front Desk Receptionist

About us On top of Kanteen25, our international cuisine-inspired restaurant and the living room of Amsterdam, you’ll find Rooms25 — a 30-room boutique hotel tucked along the waterfront of the Marine Establishment and just a short walk from Central Station and the city center. We offer guests comfortable, stylish rooms equipped with modern conveniences, paired with an easy self check-in experience and secure luggage lockers. Our mission is to provide a welcoming, seamless stay with a personal touch — even in a digital-first setup. The Role We are looking for a full-time Front Desk team member to join and support the daily operations of Rooms25. You’ll be the heart of the guest experience — a go-to person for check-ins, directions, and practical help. You’ll make sure everything runs smoothly from behind the scenes to the front door. Your Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist guests, manage check-ins and check-outs Provide property and local information in a friendly, helpful manner Assign rooms and coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance Run daily reports (e.g., arrivals, breakfasts, guests in-house) Handle guest communication and manage reservations from OTAs and other platforms Ensure property safety and handle issues calmly and efficiently Perform regular room and property inspections Follow internal procedures and safety guidelines What We Expect A proactive, guest-focused attitude A hands-on, team-oriented mindset Comfort working independently and in shifts (including weekends and holidays) Experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not required — we value personality and drive Why Join Us?
