Job Description
We are seeking a talented Training Coordinator with experience and knowledge in digital e-learning programs and educational technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing e-learning initiatives within our organization, serving Spanish-speaking audiences. This role involves mastering Spanish (both written and verbal) and English and being able to translate training materials, also taking advantage of technological tools to facilitate learning, designing attractive traditional and digital content. Responsibilities: • Design training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources. • Development of e-learning programs • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop e-learning modules and courses. • Use digital creation tools and e-learning platforms to create interactive, multimedia-rich content. • Translate existing training materials into Spanish, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance. • Design and adapt e-learning curriculum • Develop assessments, quizzes and simulations to measure learning outcomes. • Stay up to date on emerging trends and advancements in e-learning technologies. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to students during online training activities. • Ensure e-learning programs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Generate reports on key performance indicators and training metrics for management review. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or a related field. (if is possible) • Fluent in Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English. • Mastery of digital creation tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate or similar software. • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience in content management. • Proven experience developing and delivering e-learning programs, preferably for multicultural audiences. • Ability to adapt educational content to diverse learning styles and preferences. • Certification in instructional design or e-learning development is an advantage. Skills & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any of the following industries: Hospitality, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Management, or Human Resources 2-4 years of progressive training and development experience with demonstrated accomplishments in the areas of the ADDIE model; implementation including technical skills, customer service, and leadership development Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, Prmiere Pro and Storyline Full understanding of all phases of training development process and adult learning principles. Proficient in web-based learning technology (Captivate, Lectora, Articulate, etc.) Experience in delivering in-person training programs preferred Video production and editing skills including: scripting, scene blocking, talent direction, camera operation, sound, and lighting Ability to effectively multi-task, managing multiple projects at different points in their lifecycles Excellent communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with business leaders Great analytical skills and attention to detail Proficient in planning and organizing – forward thinking to establish an efficient and appropriate course of action in a fast-paced environment Ability to be flexible with change and help manage change Food service and/or hospitality industry training experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Restaurant Industry Experience Highly Preferred
