If so, we encourage you to apply. We are seeking a polished, customer-driven Meeting Support Specialist to support daily operations across training rooms, event spaces, and conference areas. This position plays a key role in ensuring meeting spaces are fully prepared and maintained to the highest standards while delivering exceptional service and technical support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Position: Meeting Support Specialist Location: Chicago, IL 60606 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm Pay Rate: $22.29 – $23.29 per hour (37.50 hours per week) Key Responsibilities: Set up training and conference rooms according to client specifications, including room diagrams and event forms Move airwalls to adjust room sizes as needed Tape down wires and ensure safe cable management Distribute training materials as requested and ensure thorough cleanup post-meetings Verify all room elements meet client expectations (e.g., lighting, A/V, temperature, supplies) Return and secure all equipment after use Provide on-demand A/V assistance and troubleshooting Float between floors to support the Floor Hosts and meeting room users Monitor meeting rooms for attendance, timeliness, and space usage Conduct routine floor tours to ensure all common areas are clean and organized Proactively anticipate client needs and maintain a customer-first approach Accurately track and report client interactions and service requests Follow all Forrest Solutions and client safety and operating procedures Qualifications: 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, or a service-oriented environment (e.g., hotel, conference center, corporate hospitality) Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and A/V equipment Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical room setups for extended periods Proven ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic, high-volume setting Excellent listening, communication, and customer service skills Professional appearance and demeanor with the ability to interact with clients at all levels Core Competencies: Customer-first mindset with a solution-oriented approach High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure Strong verbal and written communication Adaptability, flexibility, and comfort with changing priorities Tech-savvy and comfortable with using modern office tools and platforms Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
