Sunbelt Staffing has partnered with a respected national home health agency to hire a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Richmond, VA . Contract Details: Hiring Company: Sunbelt Staffing Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency Location: Richmond, VA, and surrounding areas Position Type: Full-time, 13-week contract Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with occasional weekends and on-call duty typically once per month) Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k available after 90 days of employment, weekly pay Mileage: .38c mileage reimbursement visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected Productivity: 25-32 per week, up to 35 patients per week Requirements: Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN)license Active American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS certification Minimum of 1 year of field home health experience required, working with adult and geriatric patients Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase software required Oasis Certified strongly preferred, but not required Homecare Homebase Certified strongly preferred, but not required Job Duties: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, IV therapy, and patient education, based on established protocols and physician orders Perform regular patient visits to monitor health status, assess progress, and address any changes or concerns Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, social workers, and physicians, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, self-care techniques, and safety precautions Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, agency policies, and best practices in home health care Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and in-service training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge Location Details: Richmond, Virginia, is a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and scenic beauty.
