Finance Accountant with Oracle Cloud Financials

Job Description Responsible for maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures for the company at all times. Our Financial Accountant addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including General Ledger preparation, AP/AR Ledger Control Account Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, Forecast preparation and analysis, and Year-End Audit preparation. Main Duties and Responsibilities Assigning tasks in all areas (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting) of financial accounting Calculating and posting periodical GL Journals Managing assets and leases Performing Balance Sheet reconciliations, income and expenditure analysis, and P&L analysis Handling intercompany postings and reconciliations Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports Submitting monthly VAT and IC declarations and other statistics Preparing interim and year-end audits and assisting in the preparation of the annual report Assisting in the preparation of annual income tax returns Creating quarterly and yearly forecasting reports with variance analysis Conducting sales analysis Managing Cost Centre controls Overseeing and managing internal retail financial audits Assisting in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance workflow, maintaining high accuracy Supporting the global transition to Oracle Cloud Finance Providing training to new and existing staff as needed Qualifications Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting, or similar qualification Several years of professional experience in an international trading company or accounting firm Strong analytical and numerical skills Proficiency in English and Italian Good knowledge of MS Office Experience with Oracle Cloud Finance (OCF) and Oracle’s EPBSC Ability to meet deadlines and multitask Flexibility and teamwork skills Experience in the Fashion or Footwear industry is desirable but not essential Willingness to travel occasionally as needed What You’ll Get Full-Time role Competitive package International and diverse work environment Equal opportunity and merit-based environment Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding company Skechers recognizes the importance of diversity and promotes fairness, transparency, and equality of opportunity for all employees and applicants.
