About Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovanelli Set to open in 2026 in Venice, the second Orient Express hotel will be housed in the historic Palazzo Donà Giovannelli, in partnership with ARSENALE. Architect Aline Amar d’Amman and her studio Culture in Architecture have been entrusted with the design and decoration of the space. Venice, once a gateway to Constantinople and a key stop on the legendary Orient Express, will host this new luxury hotel. Job Description The SPA Manager will oversee all SPA operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and financial performance. Responsibilities include creating a luxurious SPA environment, developing a motivated team, and collaborating with marketing to implement business plans in line with hotel standards. Responsibilities Manage SPA operations, including guest service, inventory, cost control, marketing, budgeting, policies, and procedures. Train and develop SPA staff, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback and recognition. Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction, addressing issues proactively. Ensure team compliance with company standards. Greet VIP guests, handle inquiries, and resolve concerns promptly. Handle guest complaints professionally. Promote SPA services through up-selling techniques. Maintain staff knowledge of products and services. Conduct audits and recruit/train team members. Implement security protocols and respond to emergencies. Qualifications Proven experience as SPA Manager in luxury hospitality. Strong leadership and motivational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good judgment and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in SPA management software and systems. Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields preferred. Experience as a therapist is advantageous. Legal right to work in Italy, flexible working hours including weekends and holidays. Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
