Job Description
Restaurant Maître - Franchise Job Requirements Key Responsibilities and Purpose of the Position : The Restaurant Manager is responsible for coordinating all breakfast, lunch, dinner, group dinners / banquets, meetings, and private events held at the hotel. They operate within budget and KPIs and adhere to brand standards. They develop local business activities; maintain the hotel's high level of service and reputation. They prepare monthly reports, manage their department's budget, and evaluate employees for internal professional growth. Main Tasks - Essential Functions : Guides and manages hotel operations Achieving budget targets for food, beverages, personnel costs, and margins Timely price analysis in relation to competition Conducting competitive analysis through mystery guest activities and sales calls Developing and implementing all department control activities Planning service standards for the dining room, bar, and kitchen Conducting staff training to enhance development Collaborating with the purchasing department for product selection and stock management Evaluating supplier relationships regarding quality and integrity Monitoring and replenishing equipment and supplies Suggesting and scheduling menu planning in collaboration with the Cluster F&B Manager and the Executive Chef Monitoring cost and revenue trends of each food and beverage department Understanding the hotel's loyalty program Preparing department forecasts for budget planning The Food & Beverage division oversees and coordinates : Management : Stewards: sanitation, storage, and machinery management Storage: food supply control, purchasing forecasts, waste management, inventories Use and Management: staff hiring, roles, responsibilities Food & Beverage Marketing: market research, service quality, revenue projections Catering: equipment updates, service planning, health and hygiene compliance Supervises and participates in community activities related to the hotel. Other Activities : Participate in budget development and strategic planning Attend meetings and training sessions Resolve conflicts, manage multiple tasks, work under pressure Communicate fluently in Italian and English Support department shifts and activities as needed Other duties : Support the group's culture and standards Maintain regular attendance and safety standards Work Experience Requirements : Hotel Management School diploma or equivalent Experience in food and beverage, preferably in a hotel or restaurant Knowledge of dining techniques, food safety, and upper-intermediate English Teamwork, organization, flexibility, and availability for weekends and holidays Safety Requirements : Supervise PPE use, report hazards, and ensure safety compliance.
