Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/05/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: (1) MRI Tech– 12 hr days – UTMB Clear Lake Campus - Webster, TX Start date: ASAP Contract length: 13 weeks Guaranteed hours: 36 - No guaranteed hours first 2 weeks of contract Shift Requirements: 12hr days (17a-7p) Float Requirements: units alike skillset Weekend requirements: Discussed in interview On call/Call Back: Discussed in interview EMR: EPIC Required certs to be attached upon submittal: AHA BLS, ONE of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) Minimum experience: 2 years. Proficient in advanced interventional cases and MR diagnostic cases of the head, cardiac, prostate and breast. Job Description: The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist position works independently to complete a variety of routine MR procedures to include common and specialty MR exams of moderate complexity. This position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special MR procedures. Performs routine MRI, MRA procedures and will assist physicians during diagnostic or special procedures, including assisting with sterile technique.
