English Mother Tongue Teacher

Our school was founded in 1985 in the city of Pozzuoli (NA). We are one of the most accredited schools in the Phlegraean area, operating in the school environment with lessons and activities from kindergarten to primary school, all conducted entirely in English. Our greatest strength is the teaching of the English language. We are a recognized Cambridge center and have been nationally awarded for the high quality of our teaching. We work with children aged between 2 and 10. Thanks to the Cambridge Method, division into groups according to the British System, and CLIL insights, our school promotes bilingualism in a comprehensive manner. Each lesson is designed to recreate real-life situations to facilitate interaction with teachers and peers. Using tools like the Interactive Multimedia Whiteboard (IWB), educational tablets, and innovative learning materials, lessons are dynamic and engaging. The teacher, through targeted activities, works on the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, aiming to help students acquire, improve, and master English. Objectives are achieved gradually, respecting each student's learning pace. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are seeking a native English-speaking teacher to work with children aged 2 to 10. Responsibilities include organizing and conducting educational, didactic, and recreational activities to enhance children's English skills. Plan activities using suitable methodologies, materials, and tools, including games and sports. Assist children in developing cognitive and expressive skills and understanding the surrounding world. Promote socialization through various activities. Set objectives and expected outcomes (strategic planning). Maintain strong communication skills (both written and oral). Develop listening skills and relational skills such as empathy. Exhibit personal characteristics like motivation, creativity, self-control, resilience to stress, and a propensity for learning and self-improvement. Be willing to work collaboratively within a team.
