Duties and Responsibilities As an Accounting Receivable Stageur, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the following: Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Monitoring receivables by totaling unpaid invoices. Verifying the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, Front Office, F&B, and customers. Posting valid or authorized charges by entering adjusting entries in various hotel accounts. Resolving invalid or unauthorized transactions following standard procedures. Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credit lines. Summarizing receivables by maintaining invoice accounts, coordinating daily transfers to accounts receivable, and verifying totals. Protecting the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality of information. Answering phone calls from members, groups, and guests. Researching and following up on chargebacks. Working closely with all Sales/Events Managers to establish necessary credit for upcoming groups/events and to prepare final bills for clients. Complying with governmental and company policies, procedures, and regulations. Compiling statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports related to cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses. Upholding Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation; maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications To succeed as an Accounting Receivable Stageur, I should possess the following qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results: Degree in Finance or Accounting and professional accounting certification; hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred. Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Materials Control (MC), and familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS, and CRM platforms. Fluent in Italian and proficient in English; additional languages are a plus. Eligible to work in Italy.
