Report to : Head of Finance Responsible for : Supporting the finance team with a focus on Payables, VAT / fiscal monthly reports, and cash management; involved in business support and control activities. Main Duties and Responsibilities : Accounts payable activities in conjunction with colleagues and the shared service center, including checking supplier master files, creating new suppliers, matching supplier invoices, supporting purchase order creation, managing contracts, and monthly account reconciliations. Perform daily cash reconciliation, including collection and balancing of banking envelopes and petty cash processing. Manage employee expense claims, sales expense claims, and monitor company credit card expenses following Hyatt SOPs. Conduct daily VAT register checks, prepare VAT reconciliation, and manage the hotel's "Autofatture" system. Track intra-UE invoices for Intrastat purposes and prepare monthly accruals for specific departments. Review preliminary profit and loss figures with the finance team and participate in monthly financial reviews. Oversee on-site accounting functions to ensure proper fiscal management and compliance, working closely with fiscal consultants and auditors. Assist with quarterly and year-end audits, and support special reporting and analysis projects.
