Reach Forklift Operator

Job Title: Reach Forklift Operator Job Description This role involves operating a reach forklift within a facility that requires a high level of attention to detail. You will spend 80% of your time operating the forklift and 20% manually lifting, assisting with inventory management, replenishing, picking, and putting away products, using an RF scanner, and maintaining the facility. Responsibilities Operate the reach forklift 80% of the time. Manually lift and handle products 20% of the time. Assist with inventory control, replenishing, and putting away products. Pick products using an RF scanner. Maintain the facility, ensuring it is clean and organized. Dispose of all garbage correctly and in a timely manner. Perform daily warehouse inspections and report damages to the Operations Supervisor. Comply with regulatory GMP and corporate policies, upholding safety policies. Maintain accurate housekeeping logs. Use a waste compactor for daily waste and recycling disposal. Coordinate garbage bin pick-ups and work with outsourced contractors. Perform minor warehouse repairs using power tools. Assist with other operational duties as needed. Essential Skills Forklift certification, specifically for reach forklifts. Proficiency in operating an Order Picker and using RF scanners. Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfortable using computers for inventory management. 3rd party certification on Order Picker preferred. Work Environment The work environment is a temperature-controlled warehouse. The majority of the time is spent in a room temperature environment (60%), with occasional work in cooler (35%) and freezer (5%) conditions. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, within a team of 13 individuals. Dress appropriately for cooler environments.
