Trade Category Specialist

Your Role We are looking for a Trade Category Specialist to join our Trade Marketing Team in the Italian Original Grocery business unit, reporting to the Senior Trade Category Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the 360° plans and profitable growth of main Italian customers through the identification and implementation of key strategic levers. What you will do Define and implement key strategies (based on company priorities and guidelines) for specific customers. Work with NAM / KAM to define the medium- and long-term role and strategy for the customers. Analyze customer data (sell-in & sell-out) to review performances and make fact-based decisions. Create customer plans annually, track performances, and proactively make course corrections. Prepare ad hoc presentations & trade stories to share regularly with the sales team and customers. Organize T2T meetings. Work on the 4Ps to increase brand performance. Develop ad-hoc projects for customers, such as planogram design (with Category Team), website review and analysis, and POS events development (materials, hostesses). Manage budgets. What we are looking for Degree in Economics or similar. 3-4 years of experience in a similar position within an FMCG business. Experience in the field is a plus. Fluency in English. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to practice active listening to market inputs. Results-driven. Flexible and capable of working in a multifunctional team. Good communication skills and teamwork.
