We are looking for a Director of Engineering The Director of Engineering is responsible for the maintenance operations of hotel facilities, electrical systems, kitchen equipment, emergency power systems, and other related equipment. The role ensures compliance with guest service standards, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation programs. Key responsibilities include: Managing departmental expenses and preparing annual budgets and Capex plans; Ensuring hotel facilities and MEP systems are in good working condition to support daily operations; Establishing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability and serviceability; Planning and executing projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs; Maintaining systematic and cost-effective processes for operating, maintaining, and upgrading assets; Identifying hazards and safety concerns, and ensuring Fire Life Safety compliance; Ensuring adherence to international standards and local authority requirements; Conducting training programs for team members as per manuals and safety standards; Performing engineering and fire safety audits; Performing other duties as outlined in the Engineering Services Manual and Fire Life Safety Manual, or as directed by the General Manager. Qualifications and Skills: Degree in Engineering or relevant field; At least five years of experience in building management/engineering within the hospitality industry; Hands-on experience in hotel operations, repair, and maintenance; Strong understanding of building life safety systems and energy management systems; Leadership qualities and ability to lead a team; Flexibility and adaptability to change.
