Job Description
Job Opportunity Join the team and take the opportunity to be part of the energy transition in Mexico. We are looking for an Accounting assistant to join the Team. Main responsibilities • Review and processing of supplier invoices with purchase order and general expenses, ensuring the correct accounting record together with the accounting office in charge. • Attention and follow-up with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, balance confirmation and payment status. • Responsible for review and explanation of fluctuations between opex and budget • Responsible for the local administration of supplier master data. • Management and maintenance of the accounts payable portal that includes maintenance in the supplier registry, loading and monitoring of both purchase orders and CFDI's payment receipt issued in favor of the company and compliance with documentation required for IMSS purposes. • Responsible for reviewing and consolidating support information for the calculation of provisional payments and annual declaration prepared by tax specialists. • Monitoring corporate purchasing policies, accounts payable and petty cash, banks • Execution of monthly and annual closing tasks in coordination with the accounting office. • Reconciliation of accounts payable in a timely manner. • Collaboration in obtaining payment projections for cash flow planning purposes. • Collaboration in the requirements derived from both internal and external Audit. • Collaboration in the preparation of the annual budget • Payments through escrow instructions • Timely preparation of instructions for funding accounts. • Timely preparation of instructions for payment of debt and interest. • Timely preparation of instructions for opex payment • Timely preparation of instructions for funding reserves, among others. • Analysis of trial balance, aging of accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Constant search for areas of improvement • Collaboration on ad-hoc reports and integrations Job Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline Specific Knowledge: • Knowledge of Accounting Practices • Proficiency in Accounting Software • Ability to Prepare Financial Statements • Knowledge of General Business Practices • Knowledge in taxes • Knowledge in records accountains in oracle • Knowledge in bank electronic and payments to suppliers • English intermediate Minimum Required Experience: 2 year in similar position Systems or Equipment: • Office package (excel, word, power point) • Excel Advance • ERP (Oracle in preference) Required Skills: • Analytical • Priority organization • Compliance with deadlines •Teamwork •Attention to detail •Proactivity •Integrity • Ability to multitask • Problem solving ability • Positive attitude is essential, desire to grow in a transnational and dynamic company • Professionalism, ethics • Tolerance to frustration and flexibility to change.
