Job Description

Location: Fargo, ND Fargo is centrally located on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota, just 3.5 hours west of Minneapolis/St. Paul. With a metro population over 200,000, the Fargo-Moorhead area offers an exceptional quality of life with affordable living, excellent schools, and diverse recreational opportunities. Facility: This 140-bed hospital features a closed ICU and operates with two admitting services scheduled per day, seven days a week. The facility is part of a robust regional healthcare network that includes 25 clinics and 5 hospitals serving the surrounding communities. Opportunity: BC/BE - Hospitalist (Admitting Service) Join a strong, collegial team atmosphere with 20 full-time hospitalists and NP support. This position offers the chance to work with specialty and 24/7 intensivist support in a collaborative environment focused on patient care excellence. Job Details: Handle Emergency Department admissions, consults, and direct admissions Work with the One Call/Hospital Supervisor team taking transfers from outlying facilities No procedures required 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling (24 weeks per year) BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required Minimum of 1 year Hospitalist experience or completion of a Hospitalist fellowship required Ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and a team-player focused on providing top quality care Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Total compensation package valued at $337,000, with potential for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
