Our client is seeking a qualified Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Nov 24, 2025, and involves 24-hour call shifts from a hotel with a 30-minute response time, providing ongoing coverage for 7 days. The role expects 1-2 procedures per day. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Nov 24, 2025 LOA: 7 days Provider Type Needed: Orthopedic Surgeon Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a Responsibilities and Duties Provide orthopedic surgery coverage, specializing in ortho-trauma. Perform 1-2 surgical procedures per day during assigned shifts. Ensure a timely response within 30 minutes when on call. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to fill scheduling gaps. Utilize the EMR system Epic to document patient interactions and procedures. Additional Information Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery required. Fluoroscopy Certification necessary. Must hold a valid medical license in California.
