In 2022, Pirelli opened the Pirelli Digital Solutions Center in Bari, the first development center entirely focused on digital innovation. It aims to enrich internal skills in strategic areas for Pirelli. Employees at the Digital Center develop software and algorithms for advanced planning, manufacturing, and marketing processes worldwide. Key projects include strengthening the Big Data platform for data collection, transformation, and analysis from various ecosystems. This platform accelerates product development, enhances quality, maximizes machine efficiency, and creates new digital services. Additionally, algorithms support all company functions by enabling studies on the tyre’s “Digital Twin,” a digital replica for performance analysis on virtual prototypes. The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) will optimize supply chains through predictive demand modeling, improve production processes, enable predictive maintenance, and reduce energy and transformation costs. The center features technologies in the Innovation Room, facilitating digital co-working between Bari employees and the global Pirelli Digital Team of around 500 members. It also enables interaction with Pirelli headquarters, 18 plants worldwide, suppliers, clients, and university partners involved in open innovation projects and skill exchanges. The role offers a unique chance to gain insights from both business and industrial perspectives, driving continuous improvement. YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES Performing code development and related unit testing Writing technical documentation Versioning code in GIT repositories Working on UAT test defect resolutions Handling production tickets escalated by the AMS first-level team WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR MUST HAVE BSc/MSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM fields Knowledge of backend languages: Java, J2EE, Node.js Knowledge of database query languages: MySQL, SQL Server, PL/SQL Professional-level English skills (written and spoken) NICE TO HAVE Experience with Salesforce.com development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning/Aura, HTML5/CSS) Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes, design, and integration patterns Knowledge of GitLab WHAT PUTS YOU IN POLE POSITION Curiosity and interest in learning new technologies, products, and features Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills J-18808-Ljbffr J-18808-Ljbffr
