Fleet Manager

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the fleet of vehicles, quads, e-bikes, and generators, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and presentation. Manage vehicle and plant servicing, inspections, repairs, and workshop operations to minimize downtime. Lead and develop the workshop team, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and accountability. Monitor budgets, fuel usage, stock, and parts procurement while ensuring compliance with licensing and insurance requirements. Collaborate with lodge management and operational teams to ensure seamless logistical support for guest services. Implement driver training and safety initiatives to enhance guest experience and team performance. Maintain accurate administrative records including service schedules, vehicle files, stock take, recharges, and workshop expenses. Requirements To Meet Prior To Applying: Formal mechanical qualification and completed mechanical trade test. Minimum 5 years experience in a mechanical workshop plus 35 years in a management role. Strong knowledge of fleet management, workshop operations, and preventative maintenance. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with QuickBooks/Panstrat advantageous. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Previous experience in hospitality or remote environments advantageous. Valid, unendorsed drivers license and valid passport.
