Human Resources Manager

My client is seeking an experienced HR Manager / HR Operations Manager that thrives in a fast-moving, multi-site environment. This role is working for a well-known Retail / Consumer business in London. This role is all about driving efficiency, leading a team, and ensuring smooth people operations across both retail and head office functions. Key Responsibilities: Leading the operational HR team (3-4 direct reports) whilst creating a high-performing and collaborative culture. Overseeing the full HR administration lifecycle – from onboarding to exit – ensuring seamless processes across multiple sites. Partnering with payroll, senior leaders, and managers to deliver effective people operations in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Managing key third-party relationships, audits, and compliance requirements. Driving HR projects such as system implementations, process improvements, and wellbeing initiatives. Managing employee relations case work. Role profile: Proven experience managing HR operations in a fast-paced, multi-site setting (at least 50 locations). Must come from a Consumer background (Retail / FMCG / Hospitality) Strong team leadership skills – able to mentor, motivate, and develop others. Confident in handling processes at scale, with an eye for detail and continuous improvement. A proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to balance hands-on operations with strategic input. What's on offer?
