International Manufacturing Sourcer & Product Developer

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Manufacturing sourcer & Product developer passionate about lifestyle, fashion and interior design. He/she is responsible for purchasing materials, supplies and equipment. Main responsibilities: Negotiate deals with suppliers. Research items upon request to allow selection. Follow inventory of products and maintain inventory levels and materials on a regular basis. Communicate effectively with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate. Follow the process from order to delivery according to Incoterms. Sourcing of international manufacturing. Candidate profile: Experience in lifestyle, fashion and interior design industries, and excellent eye for detail. At least two years of experience in similar roles. Strong manufacturing background is a must. Experience in product development is required. Previous experience in sourcing of international manufacturing is compulsory. Knowledge of international shipping and import procedures. Highly motivated individual with a strong business acumen. Strong and effective negotiation and communication skills. English and Italian languages must be fluent. Knowledge of another language is considered as a plus. Strong knowledge of the market where we operate. Driving license is required. Available to frequent travels internationally. Skills required: Extremely well organized. Communication and negotiation skills. Cost effective attitude to the role. Ability to juggle several projects at the same time and work with suppliers to make better deals for the company. Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients and suppliers.
