Job Description

Qualifications & Requirements Educational Background A culinary qualification is highly valuedDiploma, Certificate, or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Hotel Management. Drivers licence Experience Ideally, 13 years of experience in hotel kitchens, particularly in breakfast or similar full-service environments. Higher-end establishments may expect experience in 5-star or boutique operations. Food Hygiene Certification Acquiring a formal Food Hygiene certificate is often required or strongly preferred. Technical & Office Skills Familiarity with stock control or materials management systems, and basic computer skills (MS Office, ordering software). Soft Skills Excellent communication, team collaboration, composure under pressure, proactive attitude, and a keen eye for detail. Physical Capability Early shifts, prolonged standing, lifting, and a fast-paced environment may be part of daily life.
