Job Description

We are looking for a Multibody Dynamics (MBD) Analyst, reporting to the MBD Team Leader in the Predictive Engineering Department, to help us change the future of recreational products through innovation and continuous improvement. In this role, you will be involved in the design of recreational vehicles by leading multibody dynamics (MBD) simulations and durability analyses during the design of the vehicle chassis and components. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Prepare and analyze the data necessary to support durability analyses. Prepare and execute 1D or 3D numerical models to represent the physics of the systems under study. Collaborate with engineering, design, lab and machine shop teams at various stages of the product development process. Identify and analyze technical requirements according to project specifications. Know how to identify missing information for good numerical modelling and proactively obtain clarifications. Based on the simulation results obtained, make recommendations on the technical directions to pursue while taking into account the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed solutions. Participate in or coordinate the experimental validation of the proposed technical solutions. Adjust numerical models as needed to improve the methodology for future projects. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: A master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering on a topic related to predictive multibody dynamics (MBD) engineering or more than 3 years of relevant experience. Excellent knowledge of multibody dynamics (MBD) numerical analysis, fatigue tolerance, and damage tolerance of structures using a wide range of standard manual and computer methods. Good knowledge of the principles of operation and construction of various mechanical systems of a motor vehicle. Knowledge of commercial multibody dynamics (MBD) numerical simulation software: MSC Adams, Altair Motion View, or similar software. A good team player, positive, proactive and autonomous, with an ability to work and prioritize multiple projects in parallel in a multidisciplinary environment. Do you have other qualifications?
