Job Description
We are seeking a Logistics Project Leader within our Global Logistics Strategy team to lead and support lean initiatives within the logistics space. In this role, you will have a significant impact on improving the end to end logistics journey at BRP. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Collaborate with different sectors to analyze data, identify sources of problems, and quantify them while recommending solutions. Plan and deploy problem-solving plans across the global manufacturing and logistics network. Identify and justify the adoption and application of new technologies to continue our growth in logistics efficiency. Develop logistics strategies in line with the company's vision and implement cutting-edge methods aimed at the continuous improvement of logistics processes, including the management of our packaging requirements. Build executive presentations and deliver formal presentations. Propose solutions in collaboration with other departments, such as purchasing, engineering, or customs, to establish the best solution for the company for various challenges. Collaborate with our teams at production sites and project teams to define the best logistics strategies dedicated to production and support our growth plan. Identify and analyze project budget requirements, prepare the necessary documentation to obtain them, and monitor project success. Stay abreast of the industry's best technological and strategic practices. Build and maintain a network of external partners to introduce new concepts at BRP. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: A strong background in logistics (at least 3 years) preferably in an engineering or strategic role. Experience in logistics / supply chain in a multi-national business or matrix organization, strategic experience in these topics strongly preferred. Strong ability to understand complex situations with excellent critical & strategic thinking skills. Strong business acumen including comfort with finance projections, business case construction and validation. Excellent presentation skills (online and in person), storytelling abilities and collaborative presentation creations. Relationships building and influencing skills across all functional areas. Experience in working with large amounts of data with the ability to transform it into meaningful and actionable insights. Knowledge in operational technology and digital improvements including industry best practices and emerging trends. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English to collaborate with key stakeholders outside of Quebec. Excellent skills in planning, priority management, and problem-solving follow-up. A valued collaborator and team player. Ability and authorizations to travel to the US and Mexico (mandatory). Knowledge of Vietnamese is considered an asset.
