Event Manager

Overview Borgo Castello Panicaglia, a famous Agriturismo and exclusive wedding and event venue in the heart of Umbria (Italy), is looking for an Events Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all events at the Borgo: weddings, private events, corporate events (team-building, meetings, company retreats), as well as special experiences for our guests, such as Taste of Umbria and culinary arrangements. The main goal is to ensure flawless organization and to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience. Key Responsibilities Planning and organizing weddings and private/corporate events, from the first client contact through to execution. Communicating with clients: understanding their wishes, preferences, and personal requests. Coordinating with internal departments (restaurant, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, reception) and external suppliers. Preparing and managing event budgets, ensuring cost control and service quality. Operational supervision during events, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Developing packages and experiences (cooking workshops, wine tastings, retreats, themed events). Supporting the marketing team in promoting events and developing strategic partnerships. Requirements Proven experience as an Events Manager or in a similar role, preferably in hotels, resorts, or wedding/event venues. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer-oriented, with great attention to detail. Native Dutch speaker with excellent command of the English language. Good knowledge of Italian is a plus, but not required. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure. Flexible attitude and willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
