Opportunity Specifics: Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Location: Bronx, NY Start Date: October 2025 (temps available for qualified clinicians) Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a7p and 7p7a) Expected Coverage: 10 shifts per month available Annual Volume: 37,000 visits Acuity: Low Coverage Model: 24-hour MD coverage 2030 hours/day of APPcoverage Patient Load: 2.02.2 patients per hour Admission Rate: 15% Pediatrics: 5% of volume Fast Track: None Trauma Designation: Non-trauma EMR: Epic Support Services: 24/7 Radiology, CT & Ultrasound MRI not 24/7 Bedside ultrasound available Facility Notes: Freestanding ED with no inpatient beds onsite Transfer Center Support: Yes nearby Level I and pediatric referral centers Candidate Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible: ABEM/AOBEM (EM-trained or grandfathered) Certifications: ACLS, PALS Licensure: Active New York medical license Credentialing Timeframe: Approx. 120 days (temporary privileges available for clean files) Why Rhino Medical?
