Overview Enapter is a rapidly-growing energy technology company with offices in Italy, Germany and Thailand. To find out more, please visit our company page (www.enapter.com/about). We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented engineer to support the Product Safety and Certification team (PS&C). You will join the Engineering department, being part of the Product Safety and Certification Team and working in an international environment. If you are as passionate about changing the world as we are then you are in the right place! Role What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future? Develop and manage all safety-related tasks (risk assessment, FMEA, Hazop) of all our systems/products Develop and manage product certification processes for EU and non-EU markets Develop and manage all product safety and certification related deliverables (technical documentations, technical dossiers and Declarations of Conformity) Manage interfaces with internal and external stakeholders (other engineering disciplines or departments inside the company, testing laboratories, Notified Bodies, engineering consultants) Represent Enapter in different Hydrogen standardization organizations/working groups at Italian, European and International level Qualifications Enthusiasm for the role of green hydrogen in tomorrow's world and Enapter's mission Degree in Engineering Previous experience in product safety engineering and/or hydrogen safety and product certification Deep knowledge of applicable European directives (Machinery, PED, ATEX, EMC, LVD, ROHS, RED, REACH) Functional safety expertise according to IEC 61508/61511 would be a plus Team player, aiming to be accountable for specific topics/products Italian and English languages are mandatory Why you’ll look forward to working with us You’ll have the opportunity to help shape the future of energy in a dynamic hydrogen company Flat hierarchies and collaboration across roles Creative freedom and flexibility in how you work Lunch tickets and proximity to affiliated restaurants; kitchens with coffee machines Optional health insurance and optional pension fund, in line with the current collective agreement for the chemical industry Welcoming environment with company merch and regular snacks/healthy treats Exciting working environment at our R&D and production facility just outside Pisa Employment details We offer all the basics anyone can expect: A competitive salary package based on the market and your qualifications, paid sick leave for physical and mental health, and 33.5 days paid leave per year (including holidays, permissions and ROL).
