Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide post-procedure care. Administer medications and contrast agents as ordered. Collaborate closely with physicians, radiology technologists, and support staff. Educate patients and families on procedures, aftercare, and follow-up instructions. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Respond promptly to emergencies and procedural complications. Requirements of the Travel Nurse Valid North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or similar procedural nursing.
