Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse Provide perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Assist surgical teams during cardiac and vascular procedures. Prepare patients, equipment, and operating rooms for surgery. Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and ensure aseptic technique. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families pre- and post-operatively regarding procedures and recovery. Accurately document perioperative care and surgical interventions. Requirements of the Travel Nurse Valid Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in CVOR or related surgical settings. Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CVOR-specific training preferred. Why Work in Norfolk, VA?
