Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse Provide specialized nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia. Monitor vital signs, manage pain control, and assess for post-operative complications. Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as needed. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams. Educate patients and families on post-anesthesia care and recovery instructions. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Respond promptly to emergencies and critical care situations in the PACU. Requirements of the Travel Nurse Valid Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in PACU or post-operative care. Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
