About the Role As a Line Cook at Kassi, you’ll play an essential role in delivering our Mediterranean-inspired menu with consistency, precision, and creativity. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen, loves working with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences. What You’ll Be Doing Prepare and execute dishes according to recipes and plating standards Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station throughout service Assist with preparation and execution of menu items such as fresh pastas, wood-grilled proteins, and shared plates Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, chefs, and expeditors to ensure smooth service Accommodate guest allergies and dietary preferences with care Support opening and closing duties, including restocking, sanitation, and station setup/breakdown Participate in training and development opportunities to grow your skills What We’re Looking For Previous line cook experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen Familiarity with Mediterranean, Italian, or coastal cuisine preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays A positive, team-focused attitude and a passion for great food What We Offer Starting wage of $23/hour, based on experience Growth opportunities within a dynamic and expanding hospitality group A supportive, professional kitchen culture Work in a stylish, energetic environment at one of Venice Beach’s most exciting restaurants Ready to bring Mediterranean flavors to life in Venice?
