Assistant Breakfast Manager

The successful candidate will: Support the Breakfast Supervisor in managing daily breakfast operations. Ensure exceptional guest service, high-quality food presentation, and smooth team operations. Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Operations Assist in overseeing the breakfast service, ensuring efficiency and guest satisfaction. Monitor service standards, food quality, and presentation. Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally. Team Management Supervise breakfast staff, including scheduling, training, and on-the-job guidance. Motivate the team to maintain high standards of service and teamwork. Support in performance feedback and development of team members. Inventory & Stock Control Monitor breakfast inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies. Assist in ensuring proper handling and storage of food and beverages. Health, Safety & Hygiene Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and proper use of PPE. Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with other F&B and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist in problem-solving and service coordination during busy periods. Qualifications & Education Requirements Previous experience in food and beverage supervision is advantageous. Basic knowledge of breakfast operations in hotels or large-scale food service. Preferred Skills Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards. Experience Minimum 13 years experience in food and beverage, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role within a hotel or large-scale restaurant environment. ⚠️ Important Application Notes Must hold a valid South African ID.
