English Mother Tongue Teacher

Overview Our school was founded in 1985 in the city of Pozzuoli (NA), and operates from kindergarten to primary school with all lessons and activities conducted in English. We are Cambridge center and have national recognition for high teaching quality, working with children aged between 2 and 10. Through the Cambridge Method, British System group division, and CLIL insights, our school promotes biliguism in daily activities. Lessons use the IWB (Interactive Multimedia Whiteboard), educational tablets and innovative learning materials to engage students. The teacher focuses on the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with objectives achieved gradually and respectfully of each student’s learning pace. Who we are looking for We are looking for a native English teacher who works with children between the ages of 2 and 10. Responsibilities Organize, carry out educational, didactic and recreational activities to help children develop their English language skills at their best. Plan didactic, educational and recreational activities, defining the most suitable methodologies, materials and tools for each one (games, sports activities, etc.). Help children to develop their cognitive skills (linguistic, expressive, etc.) and to know and interpret the world around them. Promote socialization among children through various types of activities (games and other activities). Define objectives and expected results (strategic thinking). Communication skills (written and/or oral). Listening skills. Relational skills (empathy). Personal characteristics and attitudes. Propensity for learning and self-learning. Self-control / resistance to stress. Motivation. Propensity to update. Creativity. Be available to work in a team. Requirements What are the mandatory requirements? We also accept staff who have not had previous experience or particular qualifications, as the school has various professional figures able to train those who have not had previous experience.
